WANTED: Christian Education Director, Part-time
The people of the Lebanon United Methodist Church have a vision. After years of prayerful discernment, we hope and believe that our church can be a hub for Christian education for all ages and a haven for spiritual formation through small group ministries and the likes. Person who would fulfill this role in the larger context of the ministry of the whole church must be passionate about Christ and ready to inspire and harness the energy of the congregation and the greater community.
Alongside the pastor and the teachers and leaders who have already stepped forward, the CE Director would cast our vision and see it through. We are so committed to this 15-hour-per-week position that a family from the congregation has offered the possibility of room and board if travel would be required.
The applicant will have a minimum of two years experience working with and/or youth in a church setting. Direct experience in the field of event planning for children and/or youth activities is preferred.
